Weapons are crucial to your ability to deal damage to enemies. Each weapon has its own type, and it is wise to learn them all. Weapon types also have specific commands attached to each other, though at the present time, this is a work in progress.

Knives and Daggers: pommel
Axes and Maces: crush
Hand to Hand: shoulder
Two Handed Weapons: devastate
Short blade weapons: shiv
Long blade weapons: pierce
